Outrider was originally built in 1976 by Delta Marine, and was purchased in 2005 by John Pittman and refurbished with passenger comfort in mind. John and crew completely gutted her and then began the long process of rebuilding her. Having grown up in the sport/commercial fishing industry, John wanted to make this the nicest charter boat in her class with passenger comfort in mind.
The boat comfortably sleeps 11 passengers, and has a large bait capacity. She was repowered in 2009 with twin John Deere 375-horsepower electronically controlled engines. We have two generators for auxiliary power and a full galley. The Outrider is USCG inspected and approved. We have a spacious galley with TV and DVD player, spacious bunk room, and large bait capacity.
The Outrider operates all year out of 22nd St. Landing in San Pedro. Whether fishing the local islands, offshore, or the Outer Banks, we will provide the best possible fishing experience available that day.
